Job summary

The Oxford Hills School District invites applications for an Instructional Strategist/IEP Coordinator for grades 6-8. The position works with the IEP team to evaluate and provide consultation services to students aged 3-22, ensuring alignment with IDEA and Chapter 101 regulations.

The successful candidate will chair IEP meetings, mentor staff, and collaborate with administrators to support district RtI/MTSS initiatives and accurate data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• Maine certification in special education (#282, #030, #035).
• Master's degree preferred.
• At least three years of successful teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, consult and provide evaluation/treatment services to school aged children as part of the IEP team.
• Facilitate and chair Individual Education Plan (IEP) meetings and monitor timelines.
• Provide instructional guidance and leadership within MSAD#17 schools.
• Support RtI/MTSS strategies and assist teachers in meeting diverse student needs.
• Collaborate with administrators on district structures and staff trainings.
