Job summary

The Pocatello/Chubbuck School District No. 25 at Century High School is seeking an Instructional Paraprofessional to provide instructional support to students and assist with individual or small group work to improve learning outcomes.

The role operates under the supervision of a classroom teacher and the building principal. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and either 32 college credits or passing the Praxis Paraprofessional assessment.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and successful completion of a minimum of 32 academic core college semester credits that will lead to a Bachelor’s Degree OR must pass the ETS Paraprofessional Praxis Assessment.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional assistance to students.
• Work with individuals and small groups to increase learning skills and address difficulties.
• Work under the supervision of a classroom teacher and the building principal in a classroom setting.
