Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Successful Completion of the Paraprofessional Test (or equivalent).
• 60 college credit hours or an Associates degree from an accredited college.
• Experience working with diverse populations.
• Ability to work with students at various educational levels.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to effectively communicate with students and employees.
• Ability to promote good customer service.
• Under supervision of the teacher, works with small groups of students to reinforce material introduced by the teacher.
• Participates in in-service training programs, as assigned.
• Performs various duties to ensure the safety of students at the school site.
• Performs related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
