Job summary

Fulton County Schools is seeking an Instructional Paraprofessional for Creekside High. The role supports teachers, assists with materials, and helps students in library and classroom activities.

The position includes supervision duties such as lunch/recess and bus monitoring, with training on Dual Immersion as applicable. Requires high school diploma or GED and Georgia paraprofessional certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Must pass the GACE para assessment or have 60 semester hours or 90 quarter hours, with a grade of C or better; an Associate's Degree or higher is acceptable
• Must be able to obtain Georgia PSC Paraprofessional Certificate
• 0-1 year experience is required

Responsibilities

• Assist the teacher in preparing educational materials for students
• Work individually with students and/or in small groups to reinforce learning objectives
• Assist with daily routines including distributing/collecting supplies, attendance, and grading quizzes
• Participate in lunchroom, recess, hall-monitoring, and bus duties
• Assist with library/media center tasks and related media resources
• Maintain and organize media center materials and displays
• Assist in circulation of devices and use Destiny Library Manager Software
• Direct student assistants in assigned duties
• Maintain orderly arrangement of materials, equipment, and furnishings
• Participate in training related to Dual Immersion Model (if applicable)
