Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and teaching experience required; master's preferred.
• California teaching credential highly preferred or out-of-state equivalent.
• Experience coaching or mentoring teachers and facilitating professional development.

Responsibilities

• Provide coaching to teachers aligned with Equitas coaching model and systems.
• Conduct regular classroom observations with actionable feedback.
• Coach teachers to strengthen SEL, reading, writing, and critical thinking.
• Design professional learning plans to support teacher growth, especially novice teachers.
• Lead professional development aligned to curriculum and assessment data.
• Support inclusive practices with Universal Design for Learning and ELL support.
• Participate actively in the school leadership team and supervise staff as assigned.
• Collaborate with principals to align school initiatives and respond to needs.
