Job summary

The Accelerated Schools in Los Angeles are seeking a High School Assistant Principal to drive instructional leadership and coach teachers to improve student outcomes. Reporting to the Principal, you will oversee staff evaluations, supervision, and data-driven practices while fostering a positive school culture for students, staff, and families.

This full-time role emphasizes collaboration with the Heads of School, curriculum leadership across core subjects, and ongoing professional development

Qualifications

• California Single Subject credential with EL authorization is required.
• California Administrative Services Credential is required.
• Spanish bilingual is preferred.
• Minimum 3 years classroom teaching; 1-2 years site administrator experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead data-driven instruction and PD to raise student achievement.
• Coach and evaluate teachers with actionable feedback.
• Ensure curriculum aligns to California standards.
• Collaborate with Leadership Team on curriculum, instruction and assessment.
• Design and evaluate professional development for faculty and staff.
• Analyze data to inform master scheduling and program decisions.
• Coordinate student safety, welfare, and campus operations.
• Engage families and community to advance school goals.
