New Paradigm For Education, Inc. (NPFE) in Detroit seeks an instructional leader to guide PreK-12 schools with a focus on academic excellence and a strong culture. You’ll coach teachers, manage leaders, and implement NPFE’s educational model while aligning to state standards.

The role requires a teaching background, Michigan credentials, and experience leading adults; you’ll work toward district-wide goals and partners with the Chief Academic Officer to advance student achievement and equity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in education; Master’s in Education highly preferred.
• Current Michigan Teaching Certificate highly preferred.
• Must possess or be on a path to receive Michigan Administrator Certification.
• 5+ years of teaching experience.
• 2+ years of managing adults in an instructional setting.

Responsabilités

• Provide exemplary instructional leadership to achieve outstanding academic performance.
• Develop NPFE school systems, culture, and vision, and implement plans to achieve it.
• Use data to inform decisions and model this practice for staff.
• Lead faculty and staff evaluations, coaching, professional development, and retention.
• Recruit strong staff and ensure rigorous daily lessons and accurate records.
• Hold non-instructional staff to duties and maintain professionalism.
• Foster staff commitment to NPFE’s vision and academic model.
• Ensure a clean, welcoming learning environment and high student outcomes.
• Collaborate with staff to support students’ academic and socio-emotional development.
• Engage families regularly and organize parent/community workshops.
