Job summary

A leading instructional design firm is seeking an experienced Instructional Designer with a focus on e-learning. Ideal candidates will possess over 5 years of experience in web user experience and visual design, a high level of proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, and strong skills in HTML and CSS. Familiarity with instructional design and web accessibility standards is highly valued. The position is contract-based with potential for hire, located in Wilmington, Delaware.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in web user experience design and visual design.
• High level of experience in Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Fireworks, Illustrator and Dreamweaver; Captivate a plus.
• High to moderate level of experience with HTML and CSS.
• Strong experience in web-based learning and instructional design.
• Ability to create detailed design specifications and mockups.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards for web and mobile.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies a plus.

Instructional Designer with e-Learning Experience

• Contract

• 5+ years experience in web user experience design and visual design
• High level of experience in Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Fireworks, Illustrator and Dreamweaver; Captivate a plus
• High to moderate level of experience with HTML and CSS
• Strong experience in web-based learning and instructional design. Good communications and interpersonal skills
• Ability to create detailed design specifications and mockups to communicate design intent to developers
• Sharp design sensibilities, critical thinking, and an eye for detail
• Familiarity with the web and mobile space and an awareness of the relevant technical considerations
• Familiarity with accessibility standards for web, mobile and apps
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies a plus
• Experienced Instructional Designer w/ e-Learning experience. Accessibility experience would be a huge plus but not required
