Lincoln Tech is seeking a mid-level Instructional Designer to design and build blended courses within our Canvas LMS alongside our Education Department. The ideal candidate will have a keen focus on student and faculty experiences, an understanding of pedagogical strategies, and impeccable attention to detail. This is a remote position.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Design and develop blended learning solutions using the organization’s Canvas LMS.
2. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify learning needs and align effective instructional strategies to meet course, programmatic, and organizational objectives.
3. Implement publisher content and other third-party technologies into a blended course model.
4. Work with stakeholders to troubleshoot course-related issues within the Canvas LMS and other classroom technologies.
5. Engage in projects that support continuous improvement and revision of courses and operational procedures.
6. Develop learning materials using instructional design principles (e.g., instructional guides, assessments, multimedia elements).
7. Facilitate and participate in processes that lead to student satisfaction and retention related to course design and delivery.
8. Contribute positively as a member of a small team focused on improving course delivery experience.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Attention to detail, a sense of urgency, and a passion for quality.
• Excellent technological skills, including proficiency in HTML.
• Understanding of LMS connectivity technologies (e.g., LTI, SCORM).
• Proficiency with multimedia tools for designing and editing web graphics.
