Job Title: Creative/Marketing - Instructional Designer

Job Duration: 3 months on W2

Job Location: Fully remote

Job Description:

The instructional systems designer is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering instructional materials and experiences, both digital and physical, in a consistent and reliable manner to facilitate effective, engaging, and inspiring knowledge acquisition.

Overview:

• 1 contractor – full time (40 hrs/week)
• ASAP through early August (potential extension into September)
• Focus on building change management training content; instructional design ability required

Scope of Work:

1. Utilize a new customer and employee segmentation strategy to:
   • Update talent profiles under the guidance of the HR Business Partner
   • Build playbooks and guides for frontline workforce training, including customer and employee experience mapping
   • Identify priority questions for hiring managers based on revised employee segments and strategy
2. Utilize a new store selling and service model to:
   • Design and develop change training for the frontline workforce, customizing content for different audience segments (e.g., Regional or District Manager vs. Store Associate)
   • Support content launch and implementation, potentially assisting with facilitation

Ideal Skills and Experiences:

• Understanding of change management and adult learning fundamentals
• Experience building training materials for a frontline workforce in a corporate environment
• Experience working within an HR organization and understanding talent fundamentals
• Strong instructional design skills to create and deliver training in various formats for a frontline workforce

Additional Regions:

Contractor can be located in the San Francisco Bay Area, New York Metro, or remotely.
