Job summary

U.S. Engineering is seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to analyze, design, develop, and evaluate learning to improve organizational effectiveness across modalities.

You will create learning that addresses performance gaps and aligns with business goals. With 3+ years in instructional design, proficiency in Articulate 360 or Genially, and ability to collaborate with internal partners, you will contribute to innovative learning solutions, drive adoption, and support HR strategies in a

Qualifications

• 3+ years designing learning, writing content, and evaluating programs.
• 3+ years using rapid eLearning development tools such as Articulate 360 or Genially.
• Experience in selecting and manipulating graphic images using Canva or Adobe Express.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365.
• Experience consulting with internal business partners to identify needs and develop innovative solutions.
• Construction or manufacturing industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform learning needs analysis and suggest instructional approach; estimate timeline and resources.
• Design and develop custom in-house learning content utilizing innovative adult learning theory principles, integrating objective/evaluated-based interactive components and activities for all formats to enhance application, retention, and skill development.
• Manage multiple design projects using project management tools and methodologies.
• Research and implement new and emerging technologies or processes to evolve learning offerings.
• Review and update learning content based on changing needs of the organization.
• Manage, create, and update eLearning content on all online learning platforms, including a Learning Management System and the company intranet.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of learning solutions for business impact and scalability.
• Support Talent Development and HR strategies by actively serving on additional project teams and providing project management support.
• Participate in team brainstorming and strategy meetings to help define goals and direction.
