Position Overview

The Instructional Designer will design, develop, and maintain innovative learning materials that support departments across Risk Operations. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders and team members to create modern, effective, and visually engaging learning solutions that align with company goals and brand standards. This role offers the opportunity to lead multiple instructional design projects, manage timelines independently, and directly impact the learning culture within a high-performing organization.

Key Responsibilities
Design & Development
  • Design, develop, and maintain engaging learning programs and materials that support Risk Operations.
  • Create content suitable for digital, blended, and instructor‑led delivery while maintaining visual and instructional consistency.
  • Recommend and implement innovative learning solutions to close skill and performance gaps.
Stakeholder Partnership
  • Partner with business stakeholders to define learning goals, objectives, and success metrics.
  • Build trusted relationships across teams to ensure learning programs support operational and strategic priorities.
Project Management
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously using Asana or similar project management tools.
  • Collaborate effectively with subject matter experts (SMEs) and team members to meet deadlines and quality standards.
Measurement & Continuous Improvement
  • Track and analyze learner engagement, outcomes, and program effectiveness.
  • Use data‑driven insights and feedback to enhance learning experiences continuously.
Collaboration & Teamwork
  • Work closely with L&D teammates and QA analysts to deliver cohesive, high‑quality learning solutions.
  • Share best practices, templates, and design processes to support scalable content creation.
Tools & Technologies

Hands‑on experience with the following is required:

  • Asana (project management)
  • Docebo (LMS)
  • Articulate 360 / Rise 360 / Storyline (interactive course design)
  • Canva & Adobe Creative Cloud (graphic and visual design)
Required Knowledge & Skills
  • Strong understanding of Adult Learning Theory and Instructional Design models (ADDIE, SAM).
  • Expertise in e‑Learning design and development best practices.
  • Proven ability to translate technical or complex topics into clear, engaging, and effective learning experiences.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Qualifications
  • Experience: 5+ years in instructional design, e‑learning, or learning program development.
  • Education: Open to all educational backgrounds (degree preferred).
  • Schedule: Monday‑Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. MST.
  • Team Structure: Collaborates with 2 L&D teammates and 3 QA analysts.
