Job summary

Alvin College is seeking an Instructional Designer to drive instructional excellence by partnering with faculty to design engaging, accessible, and effective learning experiences across face-to-face, hybrid, and online courses.

Leads instructional design innovation through faculty coaching, course quality assessment, emerging technologies, and data-informed strategies that strengthen teaching and student success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in instructional design, curriculum and instruction, educational technology, adult learning, education, or a closely related field.
• Two (2) years of professional experience in instructional design, course development, faculty development, or a closely related area.
• Experience consulting with faculty or subject-matter experts to design or improve online, hybrid, or technology-enhanced courses and facilitating faculty professional development.

• The Instructional Designer designs engaging, accessible learning experiences across face-to-face, hybrid, and online courses in partnership with faculty.

Minimum Salary $49,748.69

Salary offer commensurate with education and related experience.

**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**

• Bachelor's degree in instructional design, curriculum and instruction, educational technology, adult learning, education, or a closely related field.
• Two (2) two years of professional experience in instructional design, course development, faculty development, or a closely related area.
• Demonstrated experience consulting with faculty or subject-matter experts to design or improve online, hybrid, or technology-enhanced courses and facilitating faculty professional development.
