The Instructional Designer is responsible for designing and developing online courses that align with Excelsior University’s academic standards and best practices for adult learning. Working closely with SMEs, instructional technologists, media developers, and other members of the Instructional Design and Development team (IDD), the Instructional Designer ensures that course content is pedagogically sound, accessible, and aligns with Excelsior’s course design standards. The ideal candidate has experience in higher education course development and expertise in instructional design principles, online learning technologies, and assessment strategies. This role plays a key part in maintaining course quality and supporting Excelsior’s commitment to delivering an exceptional learning experience for students.

The hiring salary range for this position is $68,000.00 - $74,000.00. The hiring salary range above represents the University's good faith estimate at the time of posting.
