Job summary

ECPI University in Centennial, CO invites an Instructional Development Manager (IDM) to lead design, development, and revision of hands-on, skill-based courses delivered online and in person. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, Adult Education, Curriculum Development, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum two years of higher education experience, online/blended/adult learning environments.
• At least three years in instructional design or curriculum development.
• Experience managing complex instructional projects with multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
• Familiarity with Generative AI tools and their implications for instructional design is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and revision of courses for online and in-person formats.
• Collaborate with instructors, SMEs, ECPI leadership, and external partners to align content with learning outcomes, certification standards, employer expectations, and quality standards.
• Support integration of Generative AI and emerging technologies into course design, instructional strategies, learning activities, and assessments.
• Develop instructional approaches and assessments that recognize AI tools in academic and professional environments while promoting authentic learning and client skill development.
• Evaluate and recommend AI-enhanced learning tools and instructional technologies that improve client engagement and learning effectiveness.
