Job summary

Joyell Arscott Consulting Services (JACS) is seeking an Instructional Design Intern to assist in developing engaging and effective learning materials, incorporating instructional strategies to promote understanding and retention among learners.

The incumbent will design, develop, and implement learning solutions across programs, applying instructional design principles and adult learning theory to create engaging experiences and ensure accessibility and compliance with standards.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement effective learning solutions for educational or training programs.
• Analyze learning needs and determine knowledge gaps and performance requirements.
• Design and develop instructional materials including e-learning modules, online courses, instructor-led training materials, job aids, and multimedia assets.
• Apply instructional design principles and adult learning theory to create engaging learning experiences.
• Develop storyboards, scripts, and prototypes for multimedia elements such as videos, simulations, and interactive exercises.
• Evaluate and revise materials based on feedback, usability testing, and performance data to improve outcomes.
• Ensure instructional materials are accessible and comply with relevant standards and regulations.
• Provide guidance to instructors on instructional design best practices for teaching and learning.
