Joyell Arscott Consulting Services (JACS) is seeking an Instructional Design Intern to assist in developing engaging and effective learning materials, incorporating instructional strategies to promote understanding and retention among learners.

The incumbent will design, develop, and implement learning solutions across programs, applying instructional design principles and adult learning theory to create engaging experiences and ensure accessibility and compliance with standards.

• Evaluate and revise materials based on feedback, usability testing, and performance data to improve outcomes.
• Ensure instructional materials are accessible and comply with relevant standards and regulations.
• Provide guidance to instructors on instructional design best practices for teaching and learning.

JACS is seeking an Instructional Design Intern that can assist in developing engaging and effective learning materials, incorporating instructional strategies to promote understanding and retention among learners.

Responsibilities

The Instructional Designer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing effective learning solutions for various educational or training programs and will analyze learning needs, design instructional materials, and create engaging learning experiences that promote knowledge retention and skill acquisition.

Conduct needs assessments and learning analyses to determine knowledge gaps and performance requirements.

Design and develop instructional materials, including e-learning modules, online courses, instructor-led training materials, job aids, and multimedia assets.

Apply instructional design principles and adult learning theory to create engaging and effective learning experiences.

Develop storyboards, scripts, and prototypes for multimedia elements such as videos, simulations, and interactive exercises.

Evaluate and revise instructional materials based on feedback, usability testing, and performance data to improve learning outcomes.

Ensure that instructional materials are accessible and comply with relevant standards and regulations

Provide guidance and support to instructors and trainers on instructional design principles,strategies, and best practices for teaching and learning.
