Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Multimedia Instructional Designer to support the development of training materials for service, selling, and styling initiatives in a retail context. You will uphold brand standards and collaborate with service and styling leaders to determine content and timelines.

You will write concise training content, edit during design, and design digital assets including tutorials, job aids, assessments, and short videos.

Qualifications

  • Graphic design experience and development of written training materials.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Suite and Canva.
  • Experience scripting, filming, and editing video content.
  • Retail culture familiarity or Anthropologie-like branding preferred.
  • Understanding of visual communication.
  • Innovative self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Portfolio images must be included with the application.

  • Concept, create, and edit short training videos and styling photoshoots.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Support the Multimedia Instructional Designer in developing training materials for service, selling, and styling initiatives

  • Uphold brand design standards and style guides

  • Partner with service and styling leadership to determine content and training needs, timelines, and ownership

  • Write short, impactful, and creative training content for store team development and product confidence

  • Support editing of content during the design process

  • Design digital content, including activities, tutorials, job aids, assessments, multimedia assets, and printed materials

  • Create mini-campaign branding assets such as logos and mockups for training workshops and meetings

  • Research new AI technology, graphic design trends, and multimedia trends

  • Concept, create, and edit short training videos and styling photoshoots

  • Perform other duties as assigned


Requirements


  • Experience in graphic design and development of written training materials preferred

  • Experience with all Adobe Suite programs and Canva

  • Experience planning, scripting, filming, and editing video content

  • Appreciation of Anthropologie culture, customer, and brands, or similar retail experience

  • Understanding of visual communication

  • Innovative self-starter who takes initiative and remains self-motivated and organized in a fast-paced, evolving environment

  • Portfolio images must be included with the application
