Job summary

Aquent Talent is seeking an Instructional Copywriter to join our retail client’s Seller Education team in a hybrid role. Based in Hoboken, NJ (also considering San Bruno, CA and Bentonville, AR), you will edit and produce scripts and assets for the Seller Academy video series and help design learning materials.

You will conduct needs analysis, maintain the LMS, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in Learning Design or educational content writing.
• 4+ years of general copywriting experience.
• Experience in tech, eCommerce, or SaaS industries.
• A robust portfolio showcasing educational writing for external audiences or course design.
• Expert-level skills in Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Experience with project management software (Asana).
• A robust portfolio showcasing educational writing for external audiences or course design, including: examples of eLearning modules, video scripts, training materials, job aids, or storyboards; design process explanation and tools used.
• Strong written communication skills and ability to explain concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Strong knowledge of instructional design principles and best practices.
• Proficiency in Articulate Storyline, Rise, and Camtasia.
• Knowledge of learning management systems (LMSs) and analytics.
• Proficiency in multimedia creation such as Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Audition, or After Effects.
