Job summary

Ysleta Independent School District seeks an on-site instructional coach to empower teachers with effective instructional strategies and to support district initiatives across campuses. You will train staff, analyze student data, and coordinate supplemental programs in Math/Science and Reading & Language Arts to boost achievement.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, a Texas teaching certificate, and 3 years of teaching experience, with a Master’s preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master’s preferred; certification in Educational Supervision and/or Mid-Management/Principalship/Superintendency, preferred.
• Three (3) years’ experience as a classroom teacher. Texas Teacher Certificate required relevant to the grade levels serving.
• Working knowledge of curriculum and instruction to increase student achievement; ability to evaluate instructional programs; ability to coordinate supplemental district programs; ability to interpret policy, procedures and data.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site instructional coaching to train and support staff.
• Coordinate and deliver staff development for district initiatives.
• Analyze student performance data to guide program placement (RTI, 504, GT, enrichment).
• Collaborate with administrators to plan instructional initiatives and provide campus support.
• Review and support Math/Science and Reading & Language Arts/Social Studies programs for student success.
• Maintain an auditable schedule of duties and time logs for extra duties.
• Plan and apply differentiated instructional strategies and leverage technology for at-risk students.
• Provide ongoing differentiated support and monitor campus resources.
