Job summary

Ysleta Independent School District seeks an on-site instructional coach to support teachers and implementation of district initiatives. You will train staff in evidence-based strategies, monitor student progress, and lead data-informed decisions to boost achievement across Math/Science and Reading/Language Arts.

Qualified candidates hold a Bachelor's degree with a Texas Teaching Certificate; a Master’s degree and supervisory certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master’s degree preferred; certification in Educational Supervision and/or Mid-Management/Principalship/Superintendency, preferred; three (3) years’ experience as a classroom teacher.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site instructional coaching to teaching staff and support professional learning communities.
• Assist in collecting, analyzing and evaluating student performance data to inform placement in supplemental programs.
• Coordinate staff development and training for district initiatives and supplemental programs at faculty meetings and professional development days.
• Collaborate with teachers and administrators to develop and evaluate supplemental instructional programs and monitor student success.
