Job summary

Ysleta Independent School District seeks an on-site instructional leader to support teachers in literacy, reading, and dyslexia interventions. The role focuses on coordinating RTI processes, planning individualized plans, and evaluating educational programs to meet student needs.

The position requires collaboration with staff, adherence to state and district policies, and participation in professional development to sustain effective instructional practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred; Texas teacher certification covering all grade levels; bilingual preferred.
• Minimum of three (3) years experience as a classroom teacher with experience in teaching Reading.
• Working knowledge of curriculum and instruction; ability to assess student progress and evaluate instructional programs; ability to coordinate tutoring and plan for appropriate interventions for students at various grade levels.
• Strong organizational, communications, computer, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide dyslexia reading support to students identified with dyslexia, ensuring TEA guidelines are followed.
• Develop and deliver lessons with accommodations for different learning styles.
• Coordinate and provide interventions and individual instructional plans for students in literacy, reading, and dyslexia.
• Collaborate with teachers and administrators to set instructional goals and evaluate progress.
• Maintain records and assist admin reports; participate in professional development.
