Job summary

Ysleta Independent School District is seeking an Assistant Principal to support campus leadership across instructional programs and operations, ensuring high standards of instruction and student achievement.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree and appropriate state certifications required.
• Texas Mid-Management/Principalship certification preferred or required.
• Three years of full-time classroom teaching experience.
• Bilingual preferred depending on campus needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing curricula and assessments aligned with state standards.
• Supervise operations in the principal’s absence and share supervision of staff.
• Assist in developing class schedules, teacher assignments and extracurricular activity schedules.
• Monitor and analyze student data to inform instructional decisions and maximize achievement.
• Assist the principal in CIP development and campus budgets.
• Observe and evaluate staff performance and conduct conferences.
• Coordinate transportation, custodial, cafeteria and other support services.
