Job summary

Shelby County Schools invites applications for an instructional facilitator to enhance on-site instructional programs in selected schools. The role focuses on increasing effectiveness, improving utilization of materials, and coordinating instructional goals.

Required are a Bachelor's degree, Tennessee teaching certificate, five years of teaching experience, and endorsements. A Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction or Educational Leadership is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is required.
• Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction and/or Educational Leadership is preferred.
• Five years of demonstrated successful teaching experience.
• Valid Tennessee Teacher's Certificate and highly qualified status.
• Grade-related Endorsements required (proof of education, training, and/or experience).

Responsibilities

• Serve as instructional facilitator in selected schools to increase the effectiveness of on-site instructional programs.
• Promote development, implementation and coordination of the school's instructional goals.
