Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in education or related area.
• Tennessee teaching license required; administrative certification preferred.
• ESL endorsement preferred; experience with ESL programs is a plus.
• Proven track record of leadership in curriculum and instruction.

Responsibilities

• Leads development, monitoring and implementation of curriculum to meet system needs.
• Acts as instructional teacher leader, designing strategies to strengthen instruction.
• Liaisons with Department of Curriculum and Instruction, teachers and principals.
• Plans and conducts content-specific professional growth activities.
• Assists with orientation of new teachers in English Language Arts curriculum.
• Researches and supports evidence-based instructional/assessment techniques.
