Job summary

Liberty Local Schools is seeking an Intervention Assistant (3.75 hours) to support instructional activities and student engagement. You will work with teachers to deliver instruction, help manage classroom activities, and support students with diverse learning needs.

The role emphasizes collaboration, patience, and flexibility. A high school diploma is required; an associate degree or higher is preferred, with basic classroom technology familiarity expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• Experience with children in an educational setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in preparing instructional materials and classroom activities.
• Facilitate small group instruction and provide one-on-one support to students.

• Assist in implementing IEPs for students with special needs.
• Support classroom management and supervise students during activities.
