Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and one of the listed education options is required.
• Valid Texas Educational Aide Certificate is required.
• Fluent in English and Spanish (bilingual) is preferred for this role.
• One-year experience working with children and one-year clerical experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist the teacher in preparing instructional materials and classroom displays.
• Work with individual students or groups to conduct instructional exercises.
• Assist with administration and scoring of objective testing instruments.
• Supervise students throughout the school day, inside and outside the classroom.
• Maintain administrative records and assist with reports and inventories.
• Support in keeping a neat, orderly classroom and assist substitute orientation.
