Available at Spring-Ford Area School District's Royersford Elementary School.

Are you looking to make a difference in the life of a child? Come join our team of dedicated educators and help support their instruction by assisting students with remedial work, independent studies, specialized areas of need, and/or enrichment programs.

One Full-Time 10-month position available at Spring-Ford’s Royersford Elementary School. This position is in an Autistic Support classroom.

Experience working with students with special needs is preferred but not required. Must meet the Paraprofessional Highly Qualified Requirements: All individuals entering the paraprofessional field are required to be Highly Qualified. Individuals are required to hold an Associate’s degree or higher, or have earned at least 48 credits post-secondary training, or have passed a rigorous local assessment in reading, writing, and mathematics.

Pathways to becoming a special education teacher are available through a partnership with Point Park University for the ABCTE program. This position is part of the PSERS retirement system.

Hourly Rate: $20.00/hour
