Job summary

University of Michigan is seeking an Instructional Aide (TEMP) for Fall 2026 SI 511.161 to assist with teaching courses, manage Canvas, update syllabi, and co-grade assignments. The role includes leading discussions, preparing materials, and coordinating with the instructor.

This in-person position with occasional remote work is based in Ann Arbor, with a weekly Tuesday class from 1:30pm–4:30pm. Candidates should be prepared for hybrid flexibility and events beyond regular hours.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate in good academic standing with knowledge of the subject matter.
• Non-UM student with a Bachelor's or Master's in information technology.
• 1+ years of experience in an administrative or program support role, especially in higher education.
• Flexibility to occasionally work outside regular business hours to support events.
• Must have a basic understanding of web accessibility guidelines.
