Job summary

Clint ISD is seeking an Educational Aide to support Horizon Middle School students during the 2026-2027 school year. A high school diploma and ESSA qualification are required, with preference for experience working with children.

Applicants must apply for and obtain a Texas Educational Aide Certificate upon hire, and submit the required documents to CISD Central Administration.

Salary: $106.00- $126.16
Days: 187 days per year (8 hrs per day)

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Meets the standards of ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act); (1) Completed two (2) years of study at an institution of higher education (48 college credit hours); or (2) Associate's degree (or higher)
  • Must apply and obtain a Valid Texas Educational Aide Certificate (UPON HIRE)
  • Experience working with children preferred

  • Ability to work well with children
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to work well under supervision
  • Ability to use computer and be familiar with word, excel, access, and e-mail systems
