Job summary

Clint ISD in Horizon City, Texas, is seeking a journeyman electrician to maintain and repair district-wide electrical systems. The hourly wage ranges from $21.25 to $25.60. A valid Texas journeyman license from TDLR, a high school diploma or GED, and a Texas driver’s license are required.

Minimum Qualifications :

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent
• Valid journey electrician license from TDLR
• Valid Texas driver's license
• Five years' experience in electrical field with journeyman license
• Five years' experience in fire alarm experience, preferred

Special Knowledge/Skills :

• Knowledge of electrical circuits and wiring and operating principles of motors
• Knowledge of local electrical codes
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and written reference material
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations
• Ability to diagnose and resolve problems
• Ability to use hand and power tools
