Job summary

The Montgomery County Intermediate Unit in Norristown, PA seeks an Instruction-in-the-Home Teacher to support students with disabilities in home settings as part of the Office of Student Services. These are part-time temporary roles for the 2026-2027 school year with hours ranging 1–20 per week and travel across Montgomery County.

Qualifications include PA Special Education PK-12 certification and Wilson Reading System Certification, with 3+ years of experience preferred and required clearances:

• Wilson Reading System Certification is required.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience preferred.
• Experience with Assistive Technology.
• Experience providing a high level of customer service.
• Current PA Child Abuse, Criminal and FBI Fingerprinting clearances dated within one year from date of hire.

The Montgomery County Intermediate Unit is seeking anInstruction-in-the-Home Teacher to work within the Office of Student Services. These are part-time temporary needs for the 2026-2027 school year (hours, ages, and locations vary). Hours vary and range from 1-20 hours per week depending on needs.
