Job summary

Richmond Community College is seeking an Institutional Research Analyst in North Carolina to support strategic planning, enrollment management, and regulatory reporting. The role develops dashboards, analytics models, and data warehouses while ensuring data quality and governance.

You will collaborate with academic and student services teams to provide actionable insights, track KPIs, and support data-informed decision making across the college.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of higher education data systems.
• Strong statistical and quantitative analysis skills.
• Proficiency in SQL and database management.
• Experience with business intelligence and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
• Experience with predictive analytics and data modeling.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Knowledge of IPEDS and federal reporting requirements.
• Ability to communicate complex findings to non-technical audiences.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• CRM knowledge/skills.

Responsibilities

• Produce recurring institutional reports on enrollment, retention, graduation, and student success.
• Analyze enrollment trends, student progress, persistence, and completion outcomes.
• Develop ad hoc analyses and reports for strategic initiatives.
• Design and maintain dashboards and BI tools.
• Maintain data warehouses and ensure data accuracy.
• Create automated reporting and self-service analytics for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Academic Affairs, Student Services, Enrollment Management, and IT.
• Present findings to college leadership and committees.
