Job summary

NC Community Colleges is seeking a professional to assist the Director of Institutional Research and Planning in collecting, processing, and evaluating information about the College’s programs and services. The role supports planning activities, institutional planning, and data-driven reporting.

Responsibilities include developing the Institutional Effectiveness Plan, producing standard reports like the College Fact Book, and handling ad-hoc data requests.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field required.
• Minimum of one year related work experience; three years in strategic planning preferred.
• Experience with relational databases and data reporting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning activities including development of institutional goals, planning assumptions and annual priorities.
• Help develop an Institutional Effectiveness Plan.
• Collect and provide data for planning activities, program review, accreditation, and reporting.
• Create standard reports such as the College Fact Book.
• Maintain the Institutional Research and Planning Office web page.
• Respond to ad-hoc data requests and reporting requirements.
• Coordinate collection, organization and reporting of institutional data.
• Coordinate responses to external questionnaires.
• Assist in survey instrument development and survey administration.
