Job summary

MASS MoCA is seeking an experienced Manager of Institutional Giving to sustain and expand its institutional fundraising program, supporting a $10M operating goal and a $5M capital goal. The role collaborates with the Director of Institutional Giving to develop strategy, proposals, and reports while coordinating approaches with funders across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in institutional fundraising, nonprofit environment.
• Exceptional writing and verbal skills, with grant proposal experience.
• Front-facing funder cultivation, outreach, stewardship, and meetings.
• Ability to tailor writing style to audience and gather information through interviews/research.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of foundation and corporate funders; coordinate proposals and reports, with attention to budgets and timelines.
• Oversee donor reporting, analytics, and decision-support with the Institutional Giving Assistant.
• Prospect for new foundation funding opportunities and collaborate with program staff on designs and opportunities.
