Job summary

You will liaise with scholars and Brookings leadership to develop high-quality concepts and grant materials, ensuring compliance and strategic alignment across units.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; five years of fundraising experience.
• Experience with grants and direct solicitations at the $100,000 level or higher, preferred.
• Familiarity with research-oriented work environments.
• Superior oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops and manages a portfolio of institutional donors (foundation, government, and others).
• Creates tailored moves management plans to cultivate, solicit, and steward donors.
• Leads donor meetings, cultivation events, and engagement opportunities; coordinates with scholars and leadership.
• Ensures compliance with Brookings policies and industry best practices.
• Collaborates with scholars to align proposals with donor guidelines and priorities.
