Renewal by Andersen in Hayward, CA is seeking a Payroll & Installer Pay Specialist to manage high-volume installer payments, review supporting documents, and maintain precise payroll records. You will ensure timely submissions, resolve discrepancies, and support payroll audits in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Process high-volume installer payments including labor and backcharges.
• Review and validate labor documentation before payment processing.
• Maintain accurate payment records and process transactions in payroll systems.
• Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies with internal teams.
• Verify weekly timecards and ensure timely payroll submissions.
• Assist with payroll processing and reporting as needed.
• Audit payroll and payment processes for compliance and accuracy.
• Develop and update SOPs related to installer pay and payroll.
• Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and controls.
• Train new installers and employees on payroll procedures.

A successful InstallerPay & Payroll Specialist consistently delivers accurate and timely payroll and installer payments, proactively resolves issues, maintains compliance with company policies, supports continuous process improvement, and provides exceptional service to both field installers and internal teams.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Process high-volumeinstaller payments, includinginstallation labor, servicelabor, and backcharges, on adaily basis andsubmit weekly paymentbatches for processingaccording to establisheddeadlines.
• Reviewand validate labordocumentation to ensureaccuracy, completeness, and proper approvalsbefore payment processing.
• Maintain accurate paymentrecords and processtransactions within companysystems, including Rforceand other payrollplatforms.
• Investigate, reconcile, and resolve paymentdiscrepancies by collaboratingwith internal departmentsand field personnel.
• Verify weekly installertimecards, resolve exceptions, and ensure timely payroll submissions.
• Assist with payrollprocessing for installersand employees, includingreporting, data entry, and payroll submissions.
• Perform payroll andpayment audits toensure accuracy, compliance, and adherence tocompany policies and regulatoryrequirements.
• Develop, maintain, andupdate Standard OperatingProcedures (SOPs) relatedto installer payand payroll processes.
• Identify andrecommend process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and internalcontrols.
• File, upload, organize, and maintain payroll, payment, and personneldocumentation inaccordance with companyrecord retention policies.
• Train new installersand employees oncompany systems, payrollprocedures, and payment processes.
• Serve as backupfor the PayrollAssistant during absences, ensuring continuity ofpayroll operations.
• Perform other dutiesand responsibilities asassigned by management.

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of experience in a similar role (preferably construction or retail).
• Knowledge of ADP Workforce Now or similar payroll systems.
• Knowledge of payroll and/or accounts payable processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage a high-volume workload and meet deadlines.

Schedule, Compensation and Benefits:

• Onsite in our Hayward office
• Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm or 9:00am-6:00pm, with flexibility based on business needs.
