Job summary

Renewal by Andersen is seeking a Lead Installer to manage window and door installations on a single job site. You will ensure customer satisfaction, plan materials, and verify measurements before work begins.

Responsibilities include performing installations, mentoring other installers, and delivering a high-quality renovation experience for homeowners. Must have 5+ years in installation and strong customer-service skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 5 years window installation and remodeling experience preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years managing job sites and leading crews in a construction environment preferred.
• Ability to coach and mentor other installers.
• Proven track record of superior workmanship.
• Able to work hours 7 a.m.–7 p.m. when homeowners are available.

This position earns commission in addition to base pay. Successful candidates in this role are expected to earn $27.19-48.95 hourly + up to $770 per period incentive, Base pay is based on several factors including but not limited to work experience, education, geographic location, certifications, etc. Your recruiter can share more about the specific compensation package for your preferred role during the hiring process.

Purpose

The Lead Installer is responsible for window and door installation of a single job site. Ensures customer satisfaction, pre‑arrival planning for materials and resources, confirms measurement of window and doors prior to the commencement of work, performs routine to complex window or door installations, and proper work site shut down. Provides direction and/or training to an Installer in accordance with Renewal by Andersen's guidelines.

Construction Aptitude

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years Window installation and remodeling experience preferred
• Minimum of 5 years managing job sites and leading crews in a construction environment preferred
• Ability and willingness to coach and mentor other installers
• A proven track record of superior workmanship
• Scheduled availability to work when homeowners are available and in their homes (between the hours of 7 a.m. - 7 p.m.)
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Working knowledge of hand and power tools
• Valid driver's license
• Able to communicate effectively with peers and homeowners
• Ability to confidently handle confrontation/conflicts using a tactful and diplomatic approach, and the ability to maintain perspective under demanding conditions
• Able to organize tasks and job requirements
• Proficient in the use of tools and equipment
