Job description

Twin Star Equipment is looking to hire for the Installer/Mechanic position.

The position involves working with various products including:

  • Palfinger Hook & Cable Lifts
  • Bridgeport Manufacturing Refuse Bodies
  • Parts for all Makes of Refuse Bodies
  • Galfab Roll-Off Dumpsters
  • Omaha Standard Service Bodies
  • Several Lines of Dump Bodies
  • Cranes & Crane Bodies
  • Lift Gates
  • Snow & Ice Control Products
  • Hydraulic Front Wheel Drive Systems
  • Force America Hydraulic Systems
Responsibilities:
  1. Blueprint Reading and Design Interpretation: Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, or design specifications.
  2. Material Selection: Choose appropriate types and grades of metal for projects.
  3. Cutting and Shaping: Use tools to cut and shape metal components according to specifications.
  4. Welding Techniques: Proficient in MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
  5. Welding Equipment Operation: Operate welding equipment and set parameters for strong welds.
  6. Assembly and Fitting: Assemble and fit metal pieces accurately before welding.
  7. Weld Quality and Inspection: Inspect welds visually and use non-destructive testing methods.
  8. Grinding and Finishing: Grind and smooth welded joints for an aesthetically pleasing appearance.
  9. Custom Fabrication: Work on custom projects requiring creativity and problem-solving skills.
  10. Safety and Compliance: Follow safety protocols and adhere to industry regulations.
Pay:

Based upon experience. Benefits available the 1st of the month following date of hire.
