Job summary

Kempsville Building Materials (a division of Carter Lumber) seeks an Installed Sales Project Supervisor to oversee installations, repairs, and remodeling work by installers and subcontractors. Knowledge of materials, codes, and installation techniques is essential, with a strong customer-service focus.

Responsibilities include scheduling, coordinating services, estimating material take-offs, and ensuring safety and quality. Growth opportunities exist within the Installed Sales team.

Qualifications

• Project management or on-site experience in building materials/construction.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods and process improvements.
• Ability to analyze problems and provide recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Schedules and coordinates installed services.
• Interprets plans to ensure quality installation.
• Oversees subcontractors to meet schedules and contracts.
• Provides project status and resolves issues with Installed Sales Manager.
• Estimates material take-off for projects.
• Ensures materials are ordered and available for timely completion.
• Directs installers/contractors to meet regulatory requirements.
• Ensures safety standards and OSHA regulations are followed.
