Position: Direct-to-Home Smart Home Pros

This role involves expert installation and service of smart home technology, delivering top-tier customer service. You will act with honesty and integrity, offering peace of mind to our customers.

This position is seasonal, starting summer 2025, requires 100% travel, and may involve temporary relocation during the summer.

Responsibilities:

1. Earn piece-rate pay with an unlimited commission plan.
2. Become an expert on smart home technology through product training.
3. Manage inventory and assets responsibly.
4. Install, service, and troubleshoot advanced smart home systems in customer homes.
5. Create solutions that protect and simplify customers' lives.
6. Conduct routine maintenance and inventory checks of company products and equipment.
7. Explain system capabilities and operational instructions to customers.
8. Generate additional sales opportunities by offering products and services.
9. Leverage service and installation appointments into leads and revenue.

Qualifications:

1. Exceptional customer service skills.
2. Sales and/or field service experience is helpful; technical backgrounds like construction or electrical work are a plus but not required.
3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
4. Willingness to undergo a criminal background check.
5. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Physical Demands:

• Lift and carry up to 45 lbs.
• Climb ladders up to 14 feet.
• Work in attics and confined spaces.
• Bend, kneel, crouch, and stand for extended periods.
• Commitment to safety, including completing safety analyses for each work site.
