*Key Responsibilities:*
* Install, terminate, and test low voltage and fiber optic cables.
* Route cables through conduits, above ceilings, and between floors as per job specifications.
* Read and comprehend technical schematics, operation manuals, and maintenance instructions.
* Identify color codes for various cable types (568A, 568B, 6 strand fiber, 12 strand fiber, 25 pair, and 50 pair).
* Provide or relocate cable and modular connections.
* Assist in the installation of communications hardware.
* Complete projects within budget, on time, and safely.
* Maintain high standards of quality and professionalism in workmanship, customer relations, and teamwork.
* Submit all paperwork on time.
* Adhere to all project-specific and company safety requirements.
* Conduct field training and second-level problem evaluation using documented procedures and available tools.
*Top Skills Required:*
* Experience as a Low Voltage/Cable Technician (Voice, Data, and Cable).
* Proficiency in running and terminating Cat5 and Cat6 cables.
* Ability to read blueprints and use a multimeter.
*Additional Skills & Qualifications:*
* Technicians must supply their own hand tools.
* Steel toe boots, hard hat, and vest are required.
* Strong commitment to safety and quality.
*Work Environment:*
* Active job site/construction area.

*Pay and Benefits*
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr.
