Job summary

BearCom is seeking an Installation Technician to install and support wireless and electronic communications systems across customer sites in the United States. The role emphasizes customer service and the technical ability to design imaginative solutions that meet complex needs.

The position requires lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing ladders, and sometimes traveling regionally. A valid driver’s license and basic MS Office skills are essential, with positive attitude toward safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in elevated or awkward positions.
• Experience reading blueprints/diagrams a plus.
• Data cabling experience (CAT5/6, coax, fiber) a plus.
• OSHA safety training and low voltage certifications a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install data cabling and mounting infrastructure.
• Support commissioning of low voltage systems.
• Perform site walks to determine installation requirements.
• Recommend equipment and hardware meeting customer requirements.
• Some regional travel and on-call hours may be required.
