Job summary

BearCom in Texas is seeking an Installation Technician to install and support wireless and electronic communications systems at customer sites. The role involves data cabling, equipment installation, and on-site service to ensure customer satisfaction.

You will perform site walks, recommend suitable hardware, and may travel regionally or overnight with on-call hours. On-the-job training and a full benefits package are provided.

Qualifications

• Basic electronics knowledge preferred.
• Experience reading blueprints or logic diagrams is a plus.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools safely.
• Experience with data cabling (CAT5/6, Coax, Fiber) is a plus.
• OSHA safety training and low voltage certs are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install data cabling and mounting infrastructure for wireless systems.
• Support commissioning of low voltage and communication systems.
• Perform site walks to determine installation requirements.
• Recommend equipment and hardware meeting customer needs.
• Travel regionally and/or overnight; on-call hours may be required.
