Job summary

NuCO2 Inc is seeking an Installation Technician to manage on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and testing of CO2 beverage systems for a local NY route. You will handle loading/unloading, vehicle upkeep, and safety on every job.

Requirements include at least 1 year in a technical role, English fluency, and a valid driver’s license; CDL/tanker/medical endorsements preferred. On-the-job training and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a technician or similar role.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• CDL / Tanker / Medical Card endorsements preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, maintain, and test beverage gas systems on client sites.
• Manage on-site equipment and ensure safe loading/unloading.
• Maintain service vehicle and inventory, including tools and parts.
• Use handheld devices for routing and communication with depot.

Job description

*The schedule for this role is Wednesday through Saturday, from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.*

NuCO2 is the largest national provider of beverage grade liquid CO2 to the food service and hospitality industry.

We have an immediate need for an Installation Technician who is responsible for managing on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and equipment testing for CO2 hi-pressure cylinders, and other products to customers on an established route.

• Perform installation, repair, maintenance, and equipment testing for beverage gas systems
• Maintain assigned service vehicle, tool inventory, parts inventory, and general upkeep of vehicle
• Use handheld device for routing information, customer delivery information, and communication with assigned location management (depot)
• Responsible for the safe and accurate loading, transporting, and unloading of equipment
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a technician or similar role
• CDL preferred, minimum valid US Driver’s license for at least 24 months, tanker with hazmat endorsement
• Must be able to lift up to 55 pounds and frequently maneuver 400 pounds
• Must be able to pull and retract a fill hose (up to 100 feet)
• Must be able to read, write and speak English
• Will be required to pass a pre-employment background check, physical and drug screen
• Must have a clean driving record (no accidents or moving violations last 24 months)
