Job summary

California Closets in Phoenix is seeking a skilled carpenter installer to build and install custom storage solutions for homes and commercial spaces. You will follow CAD drawings to install closets, cabinets, and offices, and may work solo or with a team depending on job size.

This full-time role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with some flexibility, competitive hourly pay, and benefits including health insurance, PTO, and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with common hand and power tools.
• Trade or vocational schooling desirable.
• Cabinetry or carpentry skills desirable.
• Strong verbal and written communication and listening skills.
• Able to walk, lift 50 pounds, reach, stoop, stand, grasp, balance, climb stairs, kneel, and crouch.

Responsibilities

• Install custom storage systems in homes or commercial spaces.
• Use CAD drawings to ensure accurate installation.
• Assemble and install systems of varying complexity.
• Assist in removal and installation of materials in customer spaces.
• Maintain shop tools and equipment in safe working order.
• Install systems independently or with team members.
• Provide a high level of customer service for in-home installations.
• Maintain safety standards at all times.
• Drive to and from customer sites in a company vehicle.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Highlight:

We’re located on 2100 W Phelps Road, Phoenix, AZ.

The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday from 7am-5pm with flexibility needed.

The pay rate for this position is $20-$24/hr.

A valid driver's license and the ability to maintain a clean driving record is required for this position.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform skilled and semi-skilled carpentry work to install custom storage systems such as closets, cabinets, offices, and other spaces in the home or commercial buildings.
• Utilize company-provided CAD drawings\blueprints to install systems properly and efficiently.
• Assemble and install systems of varying complexity.
• Assists in the removal and installation of materials in customer homes.
• Maintain shop tools and equipment in safe working order(tools are provided).
• Install systems independently or with team members depending on the size of the job.
• Provide a high level of customer service for in-home installations.
• Maintain safety standards at all time.
• Responsible for driving to and from customer sites and operating a company-provided vehicles in a safe manner.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:
