Job summary

California Closets is hiring an Installation Tech in Bend, Oregon to install custom storage systems for residential and commercial spaces. You will use CAD drawings/blueprints, perform carpentry tasks, and work with a team or independently to complete projects.

Pay is $28-$33 per hour with a four-day work week. Benefits include health insurance, PTO, 401K with company match, and more. Must have 5 years of relevant experience and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with common hand and power tools.
• Trade or vocational school experience desirable.
• Cabinetry or carpentry skills desirable.
• Strong verbal and written communication and listening skills.
• Able to walk, lift 50 pounds, reach, stoop, stand, grasp, balance, climb stairs, kneel, and crouch.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled and semi-skilled carpentry work to install custom storage systems such as closets, cabinets, offices, and other spaces in the home or commercial buildings.
• Utilize CAD drawings/blueprints to install systems properly and efficiently.
• Assemble and install systems of varying complexity.
• Assist in the removal and installation of materials in customer homes.
• Maintain shop tools and equipment in safe working order (tools are provided).
• Install systems independently or with team members depending on the size of the job.
• Provide a high level of customer service for in-home installations.
• Maintain safety standards at all times.
• Responsible for driving to and from customer sites and operating a company-provided vehicles in a safe manner.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.

The Installation Tech installs custom designed residential and commercial storage systems and accessories using a variety of luxury materials. A successful candidate will have experience with hand and power tools, measurements and the ability to provide exceptional customer service to our clients.
