Job summary

California Closets is seeking an Installation Tech to install custom storage systems in homes and commercial spaces, using hand and power tools and CAD drawings. You will collaborate with clients, follow blueprints, and ensure safety and quality on every project.

The role requires physical work, driving to sites, occasional overnight stays, and a Monday–Friday schedule starting early. Paid hourly with benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience with hand and power tools.
• Cabinetry or carpentry skills desirable.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled carpentry work to install storage systems in homes or commercial spaces.
• Utilize CAD drawings/blueprints to install systems properly.
• Assemble and install systems of varying complexity.
• Assist in removal and installation of materials in customer homes.
• Maintain shop tools and equipment in safe working order.
• Install systems independently or with team members.
• Provide high level of customer service for in-home installations.
• Maintain safety standards at all times.
• Drive to and from customer sites and operate company vehicles safely.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job Description

The Installation Tech installs custom designed residential and commercial storage systems and accessories using a variety of luxury materials. A successful candidate will have experience with hand and power tools, measurements and the ability to provide exceptional customer service to our client.

***This pay for this opportunity is $25-$27/hr***

***This is a Monday-Friday opportunity working 8-9 hour days starting at 6:30a***

***Occasional overnights are required***

• Utilize company-provided CAD drawings\blueprints to install systems properly and efficiently.
• Assemble and install systems of varying complexity.
• Assists in the removal and installation of materials in customer homes.
• Maintain shop tools and equipment in safe working order(tools are provided).
• Install systems independently or with team members depending on the size of the job.
• Provide a high level of customer service for in-home installations.
• Maintain safety standards at all time.
• Responsible for driving to and from customer sites and operating a company-provided vehicles in a safe manner.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Must maintain a valid driver's license and clean driving record
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Experience with common hand and power tools
• Cabinetry or carpentry skills desirable
• Strong verbal and written communication and listening skills
• Able to walk, lift 50 pounds, reach, stoop, stand, grasp, balance, climb stairs, kneel, and crouch
