Job summary

California Closets in Huntington Beach, CA, is seeking an Installation Tech to install custom storage systems using premium materials. You will work with hand and power tools, read CAD drawings, and deliver exceptional customer service on every project.

The role runs 7 am–3:30 pm, Monday–Friday, with flexibility. Pay is $22/hour, and a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with common hand and power tools.
• Cabinetry or carpentry skills desirable.
• Strong verbal and written communication and listening skills.
• Able to walk, lift 50 pounds, reach, stoop, stand, grasp, balance, climb stairs, kneel, and crouch.

Responsibilities

• Install custom storage systems in homes or commercial spaces.
• Use CAD drawings/blueprints to install accurately.
• Assemble and install systems of varying complexity.
• Assist in removal and installation of materials in client homes.
• Maintain tools and equipment in safe order.
• Install systems independently or with a team.
• Provide high level of customer service during installations.
• Maintain safety standards at all times.
• Travel to job sites using a company vehicle.

Job Description

The Installation Tech installs custom-designed residential and commercial storage systems and accessories using a variety of luxury materials. A successful candidate will have experience with hand and power tools, measurements, and the ability to provide exceptional customer service to our clients.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform skilled and semi-skilled carpentry work to install custom storage systems such as closets, cabinets, offices, and other spaces in the home or commercial buildings.
• Utilize company-provided CAD drawings\blueprints to install systems properly and efficiently.
• Assemble and install systems of varying complexity.
• Assists in the removal and installation of materials in customer homes.
• Maintain shop tools and equipment in safe working order(tools are provided).
• Install systems independently or with team members depending on the size of the job.
• Provide a high level of customer service for in‑home installations.
• Maintain safety standards at all time.
• Responsible for driving to and from customer sites and operating a company-provided vehicles in a safe manner.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
