TruLight US is seeking a dedicated Installation Technician to install roof lighting systems on residential and commercial properties in the Greater Phoenix Area. You will review work orders, prepare tools, and ensure work is performed safely and to high quality standards.

You will troubleshoot on-site, communicate clearly with customers, document completed work, and coordinate with team members to meet project deadlines while maintaining excellent customer service.

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Installation Technician role based in the Greater Phoenix Area. The Installation Technician is responsible for installing roof lighting systems at residential and commercial properties, including mounting fixtures, running cabling, and connecting components according to safety and quality standards. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing work orders, preparing tools and materials, inspecting existing infrastructure, and performing troubleshooting to resolve technical issues on-site. The role involves communicating clearly with customers, explaining installation steps, answering basic product questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction with completed work. The Installation Technician will also document completed jobs, follow company procedures, adhere to safety guidelines, and coordinate with team members and supervisors to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications

• Strong technical abilities in cabling and basic electrical or low-voltage installation, with the capacity to follow diagrams and safety standards.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving to diagnose and resolve installation or equipment issues in the field.
• Effective communication and customer service skills to support positive customer interactions and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Attention to detail and reliability in completing tasks, documenting work, and maintaining tools and equipment.
• Ability to work on roofs and ladders, including comfort with outdoor work and varying weather conditions; adherence to safety practices is essential.
• Previous experience in lighting, electrical, telecommunications, construction, or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation to job sites in the Greater Phoenix Area.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or relevant certifications are a plus.
